Hello! My name is Kaoruko Kobayashi, a Kyoto native who loves wearing kimono. As a college student, the frustration of not being able to answer questions asked by international students made me decide to become a Japanese teacher. I went to Thailand after graduation to teach for two years. Even after coming back to Japan, I continued teaching at schools across the country. Now after so many years, I can finally give proper answers to everyone’s questions. I enjoy watching things like kabuki, ballet, and musicals, and traveling around Japan with my canine buddy. I look forward to meeting you!
