Students will first learn about the e-mail format used in Japanese business situations. They will then study the differences between writing internal and external e-mails in order to request, ask questions, report, apologize, or decline. Additionally, students will acquire the fundamentals of writing notices, invoices, and other documents used in business.

Teaching materials and lesson formats
Every lesson will proceed according to a few pages of printed materials. You will first have a simple conversation with the instructor on that day's theme. Next, you will read and learn expressions often used in e-mail. Each lesson will teach the basics of writing an e-mail, including providing an appropriate subject, and conclude with a quiz on the subject matter.
