I studied linguistics at graduate school, and became a Japanese teacher. After teaching at a Japanese language school for 3 years, I taught Japanese to international students at a business school in Tokyo for 4 years, until July 2016. I'm currently living in Russia and working hard like you are to study a foreign language. Therefore, I think I may have some useful things to tell you. Learning a foreign language is difficult, but let's work hard and enjoy it together!
