Hello, everyone! I live in Shizuoka, Japan. I have a great view of the ocean and Mt. Fuji from my house. When I was student, I majored in art history, sociology and Japanese education. After college, I worked for a modern art gallery in Tokyo for a few years and have been teaching Japanese since 2002. I spent more than half my career abroad, teaching in Jordan, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Senegal and other countries. My hobbies are traditional flower arrangement, the art of tea and birdwatching. Currently, I am hooked on cooking with wild plants. My motto is: "Let the Japanese language bring a smile in your life."
