I have always enjoyed studying foreign languages, so I studied English in high school and French in college. After becoming a Japanese teacher, I lived in Thailand, Indonesia, and Kazakhstan, and kept thinking about how I could teach Japanese while studying the languages of those countries. I am sure that my career so far will be useful for your studies.
