I was born in Tokyo, but lived in China for a few years, and in the U.S. for 15 years. I’ve had experience working in a company, and have taught business Japanese and etiquette. I’ve also taught at junior high schools, high schools, universities, and graduate schools. My hobby is traveling, and my favorite thing to do is meeting the local people at my travel destinations. My goal is to be able to teach you Japanese in a fun way, with a focus not only on vocabulary and forms of expression, but on the cultural background behind these things as well. I’m looking forward to meeting you all.

Fumi has worked in customer service, human resources, interpretation, etc. in a wide variety of fields, from manufacturing, aviation, IT, and more.
